1. Do your yachts come with jet skis?

   Some of our larger yachts include jet skis or tender boats as part of their standard amenities. For all other yachts, we can arrange for jet ski delivery directly to your anchored location. This convenient service starts at just $150 per hour per jet ski. Contact us to discuss your desired water toys and we'll make sure your charter is equipped for maximum fun!

2. What is the deposit for a Miami yacht charter?

   The deposit for a Miami yacht charter varies depending on the size and type of yacht. For smaller yachts, deposits can start as low as $500 or $1,000.  For larger, more luxurious yachts, a 50% deposit of the total charter cost is more common. Mega yachts often require a 50% deposit as well. It's best to confirm the specific deposit amount with your charter representative, as it will be clearly outlined in your charter agreement.

3. Can I have a bartender on board?

   Yes, we can arrange for a bartender to be on board during your charter. We can recommend experienced bartenders who are familiar with working on yachts. Alternatively, we can provide additional stewardess service to assist with serving drinks and other hospitality needs.

4. Can I have a chef on board?

   Yes! We can arrange for a top Miami chef to cater your charter. Your chosen yacht will need a full-size kitchen, but if it does, we'll connect you with experienced yacht chefs.

5. How much does it cost to hire a private chef on a yacht?

   The cost of a private chef on a yacht depends on two main things: the chef's rate and how long your charter is. Chef fees typically start around $500-$750 for a 4-hour charter, though some chefs may charge extra for prep time. You'll also need to cover the cost of provisions. 

   Here is how it works:

   • You'll discuss the menu with the chef, who will then provide an estimate for the cost of provisions.
   • You'll provide a deposit to cover these provisions.
   • After the charter, the chef will provide you with receipts.
   • Any unused funds will be refunded, or you'll need to pay any remaining balance.
6. What should I do if I get seasick on a Miami yacht charter?

   Seasickness can unfortunately happen, but there are steps you can take to manage it. We highly recommend taking preventative measures before your charter. Consult with your doctor about motion sickness medications, patches, or other treatments that might be right for you. Starting a treatment regimen before you even board the yacht is often the most effective approach.

   If you do start to feel seasick during the charter, there are a few things that may help. Over-the-counter motion sickness medication can be helpful if you didn't take anything beforehand. Some people find relief in sipping ginger ale or eating plain crackers. It's also a good idea to stay in a well-ventilated area of the yacht, preferably on deck where you can get fresh air. Looking at the horizon can also help to stabilize your equilibrium. If symptoms are severe or persist, talk to the captain or crew; they may have additional suggestions or be able to adjust the yacht's course to minimize motion.

7. Can I fish while on the boat?

   Only if the yacht is a licensed fishing vessel. You and your guests will each need individual fishing licenses. Apply here.
